KA150 Erasmus Accreditation in the Field of Youth: the application, step by step
What the official form asks, how it is scored, and how you write it in AvenEU. Updated 2026-10-07 from the Erasmus+ Programme Guide 2026 and the 2026 call for proposals.
AvenEU works on the latest published call documents; a new call's documents may differ.
What it is
The Erasmus accreditation in the field of youth is not a project grant: it gives an organisation simplified access to Key Action 1 funding for learning mobility in the youth field. The application presents the organisation, between one and ten objectives and its planned activities, and subscribes to the Erasmus Youth Quality Standards; there is no budget. It is assessed against three scored criteria.
- Who can apply
- A non-profit organisation, association or NGO; a European Youth NGO; a public body at local, regional or national level; a social enterprise; or a profit-making body active in corporate social responsibility and with proven experience in the youth field, provided its involvement does not have a commercial purpose. Applicant organisations must be established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme, have been legally established at least two years before the application deadline, have relevant experience implementing activities in the youth field, and subscribe to the Erasmus Youth Quality Standards.
- Partnership
- None: the organisation applies on its own, to the National Agency of the country where it is established. The Guide states no consortium option for this accreditation.
- Fields
- YOU
- Validity
- Awarded for the entire programming period until 2027, subject to regular monitoring and continued compliance with the accreditation's requirements and the National Agency's instructions.
- Funding
- None at this stage: the accreditation carries no grant and the form has no budget section. Accredited organisations can then apply for funding for youth mobility activities in a simplified way, through the yearly call for accredited projects.
- Deadlines
- Deadlines are set in each year's call. Check the current deadline with your National Agency.
- An organisation that already holds an Erasmus accreditation in the field of youth: the live form refuses the application with its own message, although the Guide itself states no such bar.
How it is scored
| Criterion | Maximum | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Relevance | 20 | 10 |
| Strategic development | 40 | 20 |
| Quality of management and coordination | 40 | 20 |
To be considered for funding an application must score at least 70 points out of 100. It must also score at least half the maximum on every single criterion, which is the minimum column above.
An application scoring 74 overall but 18 on strategic development is rejected. Clearing the overall threshold is not enough on its own — one criterion below its minimum ends the application, however strong the rest is.
In case more than one application has the same number of points as the last one to be awarded, the maximum number of awarded accreditations will be increased to include all applications with that number of points.

The limits you cannot see
Every field has a character limit that does not appear in the Commission's PDF template — it only becomes visible once the call opens and you are inside the live form. AvenEU carries these limits, verified against the live form of the latest round, and enforces them as you write.
How you write it in AvenEU
- ✦The form itself, with the real sections — strategic development and management — in the official order.
- ✦EUri analyses each section against the youth accreditation's own three criteria, using the correct maximum and the minimum each must reach.
- ✦Export in the structure of the official form, section by section, for transfer into the submission system.
